Sam Airey, Dead Young pal and provider of tequila, has recently penned his debut EP 'Season's Change', pictured below. Recorded with Whiskas (Forward Russia/Honour Before Glory) in Leeds late last year, it features several small pleasant additions to the solo live set up with which Sam has gained popularity in the last year or so. With help from Jim Morrow (drums), Hannah Wilson (backing vocals/additional keys), and Kieran O'Malley (fiddle), Sam has created a beautiful little folk record that he describes as 'the culmination of what (he has) been working towards for the last year or so'. In doing such, he has gained praise from pundits such as Steve Lamacq on Radio 2, and booked himself a place at Live at Leeds festival later this year along side other Dead Young faves & Yorkshire music stalwarts: Paul Thomas Saunders, Honour Before Glory, Ellen & The Escapades, Blood Oranges, Just Handshakes (We're British), Napoleon IIIrd, The Bacchae & many many more.
